Obituary for Dorothy M. Uhlig
Dorothy “Dottie” Uhlig, 98, of Fayetteville, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. She was a native of Oneida, NY and a graduate of Potsdam College and Syracuse University. She retired after many years from the Fayetteville-Manlius School District where she worked as a librarian. Some of Dotties favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, gardening, reading and knitting.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, George, who she shared her life with for over 60 years.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Uhlig of East Syracuse, NY and her daughter, Melanie Uhlig of Fayetteville, NY; two granddaughters, Tiffany Norman of Maryland and Amber Uhlig of Minoa, NY and 3 great grandchildren, Alexavier, Landon and Tyson.
Private ceremony will take place at a later date.
