Dorothy Visser Wenck of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at home.  She was born in Syracuse on April 1, 1950, the daughter of Henry "Hank" and Loata Visser.  She was predeceased by her parents.

     Dorothy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Kenneth Wenck; daughter, Jayme Rapp and granddaughter, Mia of DeWitt; brother, John (Kathy) Visser of Dana Point, CA; nieces, Laurel, Kathleen, and Jennifer; and nephew, John.  She is also survived by step-children, Sheila (Dave) Parks, Cammie (Chuck) Nugent, and Michelle Wenck; and grandchildren, Kate, Sam, Kaegan and Kaya.

     Dorothy is a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, class of 1968.  She started working at age 15 at the Wheel Restaurant in Fayetteville.  After that she worked at several local stores, including Small World and Ma-Ma Bear’s.  She also worked for a time at Fayetteville Elementary School in the cafeteria.

     She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spending time at the local casinos.

     There will be no calling hours and services will be private for immediate family.
