Obituary for Earl F. Morris

Earl F. Morris of Greece, NY formerly of Jamesville, NY died on October 8, 2019. Born July 14, 1922 in Jamesville, NY. He graduated from Jamesville High School in 1940. He was a Navy World War II veteran serving in the Mediterranean Sea and as an instructor at Norfolk Navy Base, VA. He worked for Allied Chemical Corporation and its successors for 43 years.

Earl married Virginia E. Craner on November 14, 1944, at the Jamesville Presbyterian Church. After Virginia’s passing, Earl married Dorothy Hetzer of Rochester, NY on April 28, 2007.

He was predeceased by his wife Virginia of 62 years, a brother Harold Morris and wife of 9 years Dorothy Hetzer-Morris.

Survivors are a sister Doris Luchsinger, a son and his wife, Leslie D. and Margaret R. Morris of Longmont, CO; a daughter and her husband, Pauline I and Dr. James M. Hanak of West Chester, PA; four grandchildren, Robert W. Morris of Kingman, KS, Virginia R. Morris of Longmont, CO, Jennifer L. Hanak of Wayne, PA and Hillary B. Hanak of West Chester, PA.

Calling hour will be Saturday, October 19, from 11am to noon at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel.  A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at noon. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville, NY.
