Obituary for Edward L. Lindenmayer
Edward “Lindy” Lindenmayer, age 97, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2019 in the home he loved for 53 years. Ed was born June 29, 1922 in Syracuse, NY. He attended the Fayetteville School. He was a Marine in WWII. Ed was employed with the Fayetteville-Manlius School District until his retirement in April 1988. His love was antiquing and spending time with his family at Cape Cod. He had a wealth of knowledge on all topics.

Ed is survived by his son, Stephen (Barbara) Lindenmayer of Manlius; daughters, Midge (Marty) Lynch, Nanci Lindenmayer and Carol Lindenmayer, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Chris (Shauna) Lynch, Casey (Heather) Lynch, Stacey (Kienan) Gridley and Monica Lindenmayer; and great-grandson, Gage Mowen.
He is predeceased by his wife, Betty Jane, in 2002 and son, Mark, in 2012.
Services will be private.
