Obituary for Esther E. Polzin
Three months before her 102nd birthday, Esther went to be with the Lord on her son’s birthday, December 19, 2019. She was born in Wisconsin and was married to Howard Polzin for 62 years. They raised their family in Appleton, WI and retired to Florida before moving to New York shortly before Howard died in 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and her son, Wayne, who died in 2005.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Beth (Tom) Silverstrand of Nampa, ID; her daughter-in-law, Glenda Polzin of Manlius; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who knew her as Grma.
She loved entertaining and wouldn’t let anyone go hungry.
A memorial service will be held this spring in Appleton WI.
