Francis R. “Frank” Kinsella, 91, of Minoa passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1945 where he played on the basketball and football championship teams. He served in the Army during WWII. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Minoa. He was an avid sportsman who especially enjoyed golf and was a lifetime member of Arrowhead Golf Course. He delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. Frank retired from Travelers Insurance after 37 years of dedicated service.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne; his parents, James and Yvonne; sisters, Nancy and Katherine; and brother, Jim.
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Patricia), Michael (Tracy), Karen Marsh (Kevin Courbat), Maureen Greiner (Mike Garbinsky) and Richard (Annette); brother, Daniel (Joan) Kinsella; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 4 - 7 pm an Thursday, September 26 at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Rd., Minoa. Services will begin at 8:15 am on Friday, September 27 at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 9 am at St. Mary’s Church in Minoa. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa.
