It is with great sorrow the family of Greg Vargo announces his death of ALS on March 22, 2021. Greg was a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School and Syracuse University. Greg lived in New York City for over 30 years. He resided in Asbury Park, NJ for the last 9 years, until his return to Syracuse 18 months ago.

Greg was president and CEO of his company Vargo Design Licensing for 22 years. The company specialized in the development of brand strategies and product licensing opportunities. His passion for the industry and the people in it was contagious. His belief in you, encouragement and guidance were exceptional. He went above and beyond for his clients and was always highly respected.

He will be remembered for his active lifestyle and vivacious personality.

Greg was predeceased by his father, John Vargo and his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Frances M. Vargo; sister, Jacqueline (Larry) Morris and their children, Meagan and Tyler; brother, John (Alicia) Vargo and their children, Nicole, JC, Amanda and Kyle; his Aunt Marjorie; several cousins and many friends.

Services will be private.
