Obituary for Gunther E. Kascha
Gunther E. Kascha, 90, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday. He was born and raised in Phillipsburg, NJ, the son of the late Gunther H. and Maria Kascha.
After earning his BSEE from Lafayette College, Gunther worked in GE’s Heavy Military Electronics Division until his retirement.
His innate curiosity led him to tinkering with everyday items to understand their inner workings.
He enjoyed the internet (for news and music), travel (overseas and in the USA and Canada with Winnebago caravans), the challenges of car / home maintenance, and his life in the home he built 51 years ago.
Surviving are his loving wife of 68 years, Rose; daughters, Heather Kascha, Kristie (Richard) Tubolino; sons, Paul Kascha, Karl (Janene) Kascha; sister, Annie; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece and several nephews.
He is predeceased by one grandson, Aaron Kascha.
