Jackie and Stuart went their separate ways and remained friends. Jackie worked at The MONY Group in the Information Technology department from 1987 to 2002. She then went on to work at the Bank of NY Mellon from 2004 to 2013. In 2006 Jackie and Tom began a loving and devoted life-long relationship.

Jackie learned to ride a motorcycle in 2002 and became an avid biker, traveling all around the northeast and down the east coast. In addition to riding her Harley, Jackie also enjoyed bicycling, was a master gardener, and LOVED listening and dancing to the BLUES. She went on several Blues Cruises with her life partner, Thomas Humenick. Jackie also enjoyed traveling, going to Holland to visit family, Canada, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Ecuador. She loved camping and traversed across the country with Tom in their conversion van more than once. Jackie enjoyed being in nature and logged countless miles cross country skiing and hiking. She had many, many friends and treasured spending time with her children, her partner, Tom, her friends and her dog, Jake.
