James A. Eighmey, 56 of Manlius passed away. He was born in Syracuse  the son of the late Laverne and Mary Eighmey.

     He was a truck driver for over 20 years and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

     James enjoyed hunting, fishing, karaoke, spending time with family, casino, hanging by the fire, playing cards with buddies, most of all hanging out and spending quality time with his kids.

     Jim is predeceased by his parents and brother, Gary Eighmey.

     He is survived by his daughter, Jasmine Maimone of Cazenovia; son Dalton Eighmey of Chittenango; sisters, Michelle (Patrick) Tortora of Syracuse, Jody (Jim) Henson of Pompey; brother Eugene (Michelle) Eighmey of Pompey; several nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.

     Calling hours will be Monday October 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Neweel-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Rd. Manlius. A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Manlius Village Cemetery.
