Obituary for Jane B. Hourigan
Jane B. Hourigan, 98, of Manlius, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
Born December 15, 1922 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of Albert and Gertrude Krotz. She graduated from Bennett High School and North Park Business School in Buffalo. She was married for 53 years to her husband, James, who predeceased her in 2000.
She was also predeceased by 4 brothers, Gordon and Carlton (twins), Albert, and Paul.
Surviving are sons, James (Marie) of Bardstown, KY, Mark of Manlius, Peter of Manlius, John of Fair Haven, NJ; daughter, Susan (Dr. Thomas Kozlowski) of Cazenovia; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and twin sister, Jean Eimer of Ormond Beach, FL.
Jane was a member of the Cavalry Club in Manlius, NY and played in the women’s 18 hole golf league and bowled in the women’s bowling league. She was also a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 8 from 4pm to 7 pm at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A private family memorial service will be held on Friday at the funeral home.
