Obituary for Jeanette L. Wright
Jeanette L. Wright, 97, of East Syracuse passed away October 10, 2019.
Born in Syracuse on July 31, 1922, she was the daughter of William and Bertha Spier. She was a graduate of East Syracuse High School.
Jeanette enjoyed being with her family especially playing ping pong and many other games with them. She was a 72 year member of the Collamer United Church and a member of the Simon Praise VFW Auxiliary .
She is predeceased by her husband Chester H. Wright of 68 years; two sisters; and five brothers.
Surviving are her children, George W. (Darlene) Wright and Patricia Pease; brother, Frederick W. (Nancy) Spier; grandchildren, Theodore (Anita) Pease, Kevin (Linda) Pease, Pamela (Edward) DeForest, Jennifer (Brendan) Wright and Christine (Ryan) Wright; great grandchildren, Jacalynn, Stephanie, Christopher, Desiree, Devin and Callen; great great grandchildren, Maddisyn, Lukis, Tristan, Ethan and Carson; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 14 from 2:30 to 4:30 at Collamer United Church, 6865 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057. A funeral service will follow at the church at 4:30. A burial will be in Collamer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to, Collamer United Church.
