Obituary for John B. "Jack" Penoyer
John B. Penoyer "Jack" of Manlius, NY passed away peacefully at the age of 75, surrounded by his family, on June 15, 2019. He was born on January 22, 1944 to Barden and Anna Mae Penoyer of Oran, NY.
Jack spent 55 years operating Penoyer Builders, Inc, where he built commercial properties, custom homes, and agriculture structures. He took great pride in his work and surrounded himself by many subcontractors who became lifelong friends.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marley; children, Jason (Marilyn) and Nicole Ryan (John); brother, David (Rita) of Rochester NY; brother, Ronnie of St. Louis Missouri; and two nephews, Barden (Jodi) and Robb (Kimberley). He was endearingly referred to as "Big Jack" by his seven grandchildren: Owen, Olivia, Avery, and Cooper Penoyer, Jacob, Sydney (Samuel Smith), and Cameron Ryan. He was predeceased by his sister, Virginia Fuller (Robert) of Manlius, NY.
Jack was an active member of St Ann's Church.
