Obituary for John Baitsholts
John “Spike” Baitsholts, 50, of Kirkville succumbed to his battle with cancer on February 5th surrounded by those who loved him. He attended SUNY Morrisville and worked many years for Clifton Recycling in Syracuse. An avid outdoorsman, John enjoyed target shooting, jet skiing, boating and camping. He loved his time with the Sterling Renaissance Fair.
He is survived by his mother, Anne Baitsholts; his life partner, Mel Zyla; his sister, Jennifer (Michael) Yemma; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, John Baitsholts and his grandmother, Jean VanAntwerp.
Family and friends may call from 1-2:30 pm on Saturday, February 15th at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Rd., Minoa. There will be a time of sharing memories at 2:30.
