Dear MJ, Bobbi, Shrimp and the twinlets. John is the kindest person I have ever known. The Jackman family gave me support when I needed it most and I will be forever grateful to all of you.
Memories of John and I with other friends include canoeing the Fulton chain of lakes many times and hiking in the Adirondack park. Planting walnut trees with his father. Cleaning that goo from nuts in the fall, yuck! His mom waking us up at 4am just in case we wanted to go to church with her. We never went and she never gave up trying. Skiing in the back yard using the tow rope lift his dad made from an old Volkswagen bug. Rather than a slow and safe ascent we took turns going thru the gears and got to the top of the hill faster than we could ski down it. Our trip to Syracuse University radio station late one night. The DJ wanted to take a motorcycle ride and left us in a shag carpeted studio with a stack of records to play. He returned hours later followed by police cars with sirens and lights. We kept the music going.
Well, that is the very short list. I love you John and you will never be forgotten.
