Obituary for John R. Jackman
John R. Jackman, 65, of Boiling Springs, PA, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on July 30, 2019 in Carlisle, PA. John was born on January 18, 1954 in Syracuse. He graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. John worked as a chef for 42 years, retiring in 2015. John was a mixed media artist and loved his dogs.
John was predeceased by his parents, Richard in 2011 and Cece in 2019; and brother, Rick in 2007.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary Jane Phelps Jackman; daughter, Bobbi Phelps of Lancaster, PA; two step-sons, Jonathan and Jeffrey Butchard; sister, Cynthia McGinnis of LaFayette; brothers, David and Paul Jackman both of Cicero; and sister-in-law, Jane Jackman.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
