Obituary for John W. "Jack" Tedeschi

John W. “Jack” Tedeschi, 79, of Fayetteville passed away November 15, 2019.

Born in Fall River, MA on November 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edith Tedeschi. He was a graduate of Sommerset High School in Sommerset, MA, Bryant College in Providence, RI and Cal-State Long Beach, CA. Jack served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the U.S.S Yorktown, receiving several commendations including the YORKTOWN Man-of-the-Year for 1967.

He was a regional sales manager for Best Foods, retiring in 2001.

Jack enjoyed playing golf, fishing, sailing, woodworking, working on his 1947 GMC Pickup and being on Tuscarora Lake. He was a long time member at Cazenovia Country Club and was a dedicated Red Sox fan.

He is predeceased by his sister, Linda Jean Moss and nephew, Jacob Moss.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lee; sons, Chris (Colleen) Tedeschi and Carl (Patty) Tedeschi; grandchildren, Sarah, Ben, Jason and Julia Tedeschi; and beloved dog, Mike.

Calling hours will be from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, November 19 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E Genesee St, Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Fayetteville Cemetery.
