Joyce N. Leabo, 86, of Kirkville, passed away on December 11, 2022 at Onondaga Center in Minoa.  Born April 11, 1936 in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of Floyd and Rita Gardner.

     After graduating from high school, she served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954-1957.  She was a dedicated Marine Corps secretary for 2 generals in the Pentagon.  She then worked as a mobile home park manager for 17 years before retiring in 2010.

     An avid reader, Joyce enjoyed traveling, family, movies and playing Scrabble.  She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother and a caring person who touched many lives more than we even knew.  She will always be remembered and loved.

     She was predeceased by her husband, Delmont Leabo in 2002.  Surviving are daughters, Jodell Seeber and Cathy Fuller of Kirkville; grandchildren, Thomas John and Maranda Seeber; and great-grandchildren, T.J., Kayla, and Madison Seeber.

     A funeral Mass will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 19 at St. Mary’s Church, 401 N. Main St, Minoa.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa.
