Judith A. “Judie” Miller, 73, of Ft. Myers, FL and formerly of Erie Village passed away peacefully on January 9th surrounded by her family and friends.  Judie was born in Buffalo and worked as an Associate Broker for Oot Real Estate.

She was a member of Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club in Ft. Myers, a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Minoa and St. Cecilia's Church in Ft. Myers.   Judie was an avid golfer and dedicated SU and Yankees fan. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining and spending time with her grandchildren.

Judie had a zest for life, her beautiful eyes and warm smile lit up the room and drew people to her and from that many new friendships were born. She was energetic, spirited and selfless, always giving of herself and ready for anything in a minutes notice. She loved people, organizing events and any party. Judie was compassionate and forgiving, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her strong faith and love for her family and friends was all encompassing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Remember her smile and compassionate nature and pay that forward in her memory.

Judie is survived by the love of her life for 51 years, Gary; her sons, Scott (Lisa)  and Sean (Tracie Copani); grandchildren, Shannon, Lauren, Giovanna, Mia, Nicholas and Marissa; siblings, Tom, Ruth, Larry and Bill Corless; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Alice Corless.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 20th at Russell H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners  Rd., Minoa.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 21st  at St. Mary’s Church in Minoa.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa.

Contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 6320 Fly Rd., Suite 104, East Syracuse, NY  13057 or Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft Myers, FL  33908.

We are so sorry Gary and all your family for your great loss. We miss Judie every day and will never forget her kind heart ! She was great friend who was full of life and showed great love to all around her. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone and was the proudest mother and grandmother anyone could be.
She is resting peacefully in the Lord as she truly followed Christ in her daily life

Judie was a beautiful woman with a good heart. She was kind and compassionate and she will be missed. I first met Judie in Syracuse at Oot Realty and then we both moved to Ft Myers where we were able to continue our friendship. She always welcomed me with a gracious warm hug and that amazing smile. I am so very sorry and sad to hear of her passing. She will be missed. Yvonne

Gary and family,
We are so sorry for your great loss ! Judy was truly the kindest lady we knew and a most special person to everyone.
One would only have to meet Judy once for one to feel like you knew her forever. Her invites to your home, her cookies at Christmas time and her graciousness at all times are just a few wonderful memories we will hold in our hearts.
She could hit the golf ball a country mile and never boast while everyone else was just in awe! We loved her and will miss her. And yes, her beautiful smile will be in our minds forever! RIP dear lady!
Much love
Jane and Dan McWeeny

Although it’s been so so many years since I saw Judi, I have nothing but the best of memories of her. Sleep overs, “hanging out” before it was a thing. Syracuse weekend , Judi and I staying with Ruth and Ruth worrying “where the heck are they?”. The Leuthes and the Corlisses were good friends and I will never forget any of them. Rest In Peace dear Judi. ❤️
