Obituary for Judie Miller
Judith A. “Judie” Miller, 73, of Ft. Myers, FL and formerly of Erie Village passed away peacefully on January 9th surrounded by her family and friends. Judie was born in Buffalo and worked as an Associate Broker for Oot Real Estate.
She was a member of Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club in Ft. Myers, a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Minoa and St. Cecilia's Church in Ft. Myers. Judie was an avid golfer and dedicated SU and Yankees fan. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining and spending time with her grandchildren.
Judie had a zest for life, her beautiful eyes and warm smile lit up the room and drew people to her and from that many new friendships were born. She was energetic, spirited and selfless, always giving of herself and ready for anything in a minutes notice. She loved people, organizing events and any party. Judie was compassionate and forgiving, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her strong faith and love for her family and friends was all encompassing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Remember her smile and compassionate nature and pay that forward in her memory.
Judie is survived by the love of her life for 51 years, Gary; her sons, Scott (Lisa) and Sean (Tracie Copani); grandchildren, Shannon, Lauren, Giovanna, Mia, Nicholas and Marissa; siblings, Tom, Ruth, Larry and Bill Corless; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Alice Corless.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 20th at Russell H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Rd., Minoa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 21st at St. Mary’s Church in Minoa. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa.
