JoAnn Frink

I regret that I just (1-27-20) discovered the passing of "Josie". My mother, Rose Scarcella DeVita, passed away in 2014. Eight years before she passed, she was at The Crossing nursing home. Her and Josie went back to their childhood years. Josie went to visit her often, sometimes three times a week. It was in those eight years that I grew very close to her in fondness and love. I already knew her from the flower shop but she quickly became family to me since my mom went into the nursing home. My husband and I took her out for fish dinners on Friday in East Syracuse, The last two times that I talked to her she said that she was not able to shake pnemonia. I have been ill also. After a doctor appointment today, I was near Minoa so I called her. My heart sank when the recording said "This number is no longer in service". It sank further when I searched this funeral home and found her obit. I send sincere condolences to her beautiful family.. From JoAnn DeVita Frink and husband Rober Frink (315) 750-6751.

Our deepest Sympathy on the loss of a lovely person ... I met “Jo” when I visited Whistlestop over the many years she worked there ... she was a joy to know.
