Obituary for Justina L. Payne
Justina L. Payne, 92, of Minoa passed away at home Saturday morning, September 28, 2019.
Born in Syracuse on July 10, 1927, she was the daughter of Dominck and Theresa Leuzzi. She was a long time employee at Whistlestop Florist. Jo’s last several years she treasured her days going to PACE CNY and MBK Senior Adult Ministry.
The family would like to thank all the home health aides, nurses and wonderful staff of PACE CNY.
Predeceased by her husband Robert H. Payne; her parents; and brother Carmen F. Leuzzi.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri (Rob) Keyes; son, Anthony (Anita) Payne; grandchildren, Cali Chappell-Blakeman, Anthony Joseph Payne, Rhiannon Payne and Evan Keyes; brothers, James C. Leuzzi and Anthony Leuzzi; nephews, Robert Leuzzi and Brett Leuzzi; niece, Brooke Leuzzi Gainer; and many other much loved family members and friends.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 1 from 9 to 11am at St. Mary’s Church, Minoa. A of Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. A private burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to MBK Ecumenical Council Bus Fund or PACE CNY.
