Kevin M. Pickard passed away on May 14, 2021 at Francis House after a brief illness unrelated to COVID. He was 67 years old.
A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, Kevin was the son of Roy and Frances Pickard. He graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School and Ohio Wesleyan University. He continued his education at Syracuse University, earning a Master’s Degree.
For many years, Kevin owned and managed the Pickard Building, an office building developed by his father and located in DeWitt, New York.
Kevin is survived by three brothers, Lee (Lynne) Pickard of Washington, D. C., Lynn (Kumi) Pickard of Tokyo, Japan and Terry (Judy) Pickard of Manlius, New York, together with several nieces and nephews.
He was an avid photographer, lived a colorful and happy life and will be missed by all those who loved him.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hospice of Central New York and the Finger Lakes and Francis House for their compassionate care of Kevin.
