Lois T. Pynn, 83, of Jamesville, passed away after a long illness surrounded by family on May 27, 2021. She grew up in Wampsville, graduating from Oneida High School and Ithaca College School of Health and Physical Education. Lois retired from Onondaga County after 28 years as Director of Physical Therapy at Van Duyn Home and Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents, Vera and Willis Tackabury, and son, Roth Pynn. Lois is survived by her husband of 61 years, Philip; children, Stephen (Kate) of LaFayette, Daryl (Heidi) of Chittenango, Christopher (Jennifer) of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law, Beth Pynn; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was an active member of Jamesville Community Church for more than 50 years. Together the family enjoyed each summer camping, boating, and fishing on the St. Lawrence River. After retirement, Lois enjoyed traveling, cruising, gardening, and most of all, making memories with family, especially around holiday celebrations.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 3rd at 11am at the Jamesville Community Church.
