Obituary for Louis C. Frees III
Louis C. Frees III, 69, of Manlius, passed away Monday February 4, 2019.
Born in New York, NY on March 19, 1949, he was the son of Louis C. and Irene N. Frees.
Louis graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science and John Hopkins with a Ph.D. He was a Principal Chemist at Inficon for many years.
Lou was an avid model railroader and fan of the New York Central Railroad. He was also a member of the New York Central Historical Society and the NMRA.
He is predeceased by his father, Louis C. Frees Jr. in 1988; mother, Irene N. Frees in 2009; brother, John H. Frees in 2010; and sister, Barbara S. Frees in 2012.
He is survived by nephews and nieces, Donald F. Grunewald, Susan C. I. Grunewald, Samantha L. Frees, and John B. Frees; his great nieces, Kaylee and Carolyn; sister-in-law, Mary Frees; and brother-in-law, Donald Grunewald.
Services were held on February 6, 2019.
