Obituary for Lucille R. Pelkey
Lucille R. Pelkey, 90, of Minoa died on December 30th. Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of Leonard and Frances Liepke. She worked as a sales clerk at E.W. Edwards Department Store and as a secretary at Cazenovia College.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest J. Pelkey; son, Arthur D. Pelkey; and daughter, Elizabeth J. Sim.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Frederick Fowler of Scarborough, ME; sister, Annamay Rockburn of Minoa; daughter-in-law, Sue Pelkey of Cicero; grandchildren, James and Katie Pelkey of Liverpool and Chris and Thomas Walsh of Cicero; three sister-in-laws; and five great-grandchildren.
The Rite of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 4 at St. Mary’s Church, 401 N. Main St., Minoa. Burial will be in Collamer Cemetery.
