Obituary for Malcolm F. Davison

Malcolm “Mac” Frank Davison, 90, of Cazenovia, passed away at home with his family by his side on Sunday, May 2, 2021

Mac was a graduate of Manlius High School class of 1949. He was in the Army National Guard and then served in the United States Army, receiving the rank of Sergeant First Class.  

Mac grew up loving the outdoors with his family and he was an active participant and leader in the Boy Scouts of America. He remained active in outdoor activities and enjoyed water and snow skiing, hiking, rafting and exploring with his children and grandchildren. He was an active parent volunteer for his daughters in the Manlius Pony Club.

Mac worked for Marine Midland Computer Operations, worked in construction and was a jack of all trades and he retired as the Operations Manager at Limestone Gardens in Manlius. 

Mac was predeceased by his parents Francis and Sylvia Davison of Cazenovia, his brother Robert Davison of Manlius and his wife of 65 years, Margaret Anne Myers Davison. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Novak, of Cazenovia, Barbara (Thomas) Arnold of Cazenovia, Debbie (Michael) Allen of Boise, Idaho, Pat (Rich) Stokes of Ma. and a son Steven (Stacy) Davison of Fayetteville and a nephew Bob Davison of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren. 

Calling hours will be Friday, May 7 from 11am to 1pm at Newell Fay Manlius Chapel, Manlius.  A service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Manlius Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wanderers Rest Humane Association of Canastota or Cavac of Cazenovia.
