Obituary for Mary Jane Larkin

     Mary Jane Larkin of Jamesville, New York, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2021.  She was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on November 9, 1926, to the late Albert McAllister and Mary (Friel) McAllister.

     She graduated from Alexis I. DuPont High School in Wilmington, Delaware in 1944.

     She was married to Richard J. Larkin on November 12, 1955.  On November 12, 2015, Dick and Mary Jane celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  Dick predeceased Mary Jane on October 24, 2019.

     Mary Jane worked for many years as a secretary with E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in Wilmington, Delaware, and the General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan.  She also volunteered extensively while living in Fayetteville.

     A long-time communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville, Mary Jane was actively involved in the support of the parish. 

     She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and one grandnephew.

     Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs Street, Fayetteville, New York, from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church immediately after the visitation.  The Mass will be livestreamed at www.icfayetteville.org/funerals  Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, East Genesee Street, Fayetteville.
