Mary Marko, 93, of Jamesville passed away on November 30, 2020 at Elderwood Health Care. She was born in San Francisco, grew up in Florina, Greece and moved to Jamesville in 1948 after marrying Gregory Marko. She ran the family business, Marko’s Grill, which began in the 1930’s with her husband, and following his death in 1993, until she retired in 1999.

She enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she predeceased by her son, Theodore in 2006.

She is survived by her son, John (Darlene) Marko; daughter-in-law, Joeann Marko; granddaughters, Alyssa, Emily, Erin VanBeveren and Melissa (Ross) Horn; and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will be 10 am on Saturday December 5, 2020 at the funeral home. The service may be viewed live at https://www.facebook.com/ScheppFamilyFuneralHomes. Burial will be in Jamesville-Walnut Grove Cemetery.
