Patricia E. Hedrick, 83, of Cicero died peacefully surrounded by family. She was born in Syracuse and graduated from St. John the Baptist High School. Patti was a dental assistant for Dr. Goldsmith. An active communicant of St. Francis Church in Bridgeport, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and served as chairman of the Food Pantry and founder of its annual Duck Race fundraiser. By her volunteerism, Patti was influential in bringing awareness and fundraising between the Church, Vera House and Wegmans.

Patti especially enjoyed her home on Oneida Lake and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth; children, Noreen (Bill) Ennis, Peggy Ciereck, Michael Kendrick, Stephen P. Hedrick and Kelly Hedrick (Tom Dlugolenski); and fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was recently predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Hainey.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, January 6 at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., Minoa. The Rite of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday at St. Francis Church in Bridgeport. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
