Richard L. Esposito, 76, of East Syracuse passed away after a long illness at SUNY Upstate Medical Center. He was born in Rome to the late Andrew A. and Elizabeth Corgliano Esposito. He was a graduate of RFA and Green & Kellogg School of Inhalation Therapy. He served in the US Army from 1962 to 1965. He was a City of Rome police officer from 1969 to 1970. He retired from SUNY Upstate Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Tyminski Esposito; son, Andrew J. of East Syracuse; granddaughters, Meadow C. Esposito and Gabriella E. Esposito; sister, Barbara (Richard) Parker of Rome; sisters-in-law, Jean (Chester) Waskiewicz of Minoa and Patricia Grinnals of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
