Obituary for Roberta L. Hanly
Roberta L. Hanly passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 96. Roberta was born on April 5, 1924 in Elmira, NY to the late Clifford and Velma Graham.
Roberta is survived by her children Jim Hanly (Lynne) of Fayetteville and Diane Lewis of Jamesville; her brother, Ronald Graham (Betty) of South Otselic; three grandchildren Scott Kemmerer (Stacy), Brooke Bierschied (Andrew) and Kevin Hanly (Eliza); three great grandchildren Chase, Taylor and Drew; sister-in-law Betty Graham and several nieces and nephews. Roberta was predeceased by her brother, Randall Graham.
Roberta was employed for many years at Shoppers Fair and retired from Key Bank in Fayetteville. Roberta was an avid SU football and basketball fan who enjoyed bowling, sweets, crocheting, spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with loved ones.
“Nonnie” will be missed and forever in our hearts.
A private burial will be held at White Chapel Memory Gardens in DeWitt at a later date.
