Obituary for Rose V. Tripoli
Rose V. Tripoli, 84, of Collamer, passed away Monday morning, January 28, 2019.
Born in Syracuse on June 13, 1934, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Froio. She retired from Le Moyne College as Director of Communications.
Rose enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She was a Eucharistic Minister and on the parish council for many years at St. Mary’s Church in Minoa.
She is predeceased by her husband, Louis M. Tripoli; her parents; her sister; six brothers; and daughter-in-law, Darlene.
Surviving are her sons, Vincent and his wife Patti of Manlius, and Thomas and his wife Jackie of East Syracuse; grandchildren, Jeffrey Tripoli, Melissa (Nick) Hinman, and Lindsay Gordon; great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Meluni and her husband Dario of Camillus; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, February 1, from 10am to noon at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
