Obituary for Sandra W. Floyd
Sandra W. Floyd of Georgetown, NY, age 70, died after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
Sandy ran the post office in Fabius, NY for many years and worked there until only three months before she passed. She took a great deal of pride in keeping the post office running smoothly and deeply respected and cared for her coworkers and customers. Sandy loved all animals, and especially cats. She rescued many cats over the years and worked tirelessly to keep them healthy and find them good homes. Sandy was a generous and giving friend and would go out of her way to make sure her friends knew they were important to her.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Richard Floyd, who will miss her dearly. Sandy is also survived by several cousins, including Janet, Charlie, and Elaine, and she was predeceased by her father, Warren Werner.
