Obituary for Sarah I. Torba
Sarah I. Torba, 85, died peacefully at home with her family by her side. Sally lived in the Fayetteville-Manlius area for 60 years. She was born in Oswego, graduated from SUNY Oswego, where she earned her degree in Education and taught for the East Syracuse-Minoa School District.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward; children, Jeanne (Tim) Byce of Pittsburgh, PA, James (Katrina) Torba of Naples, FL, Susan (Bob) Fallon of Westwood, MA, Cathleen (David) Falge of Cazenovia, Sarah (William) Mothersell of Niceville, FL; twelve grandchildren; and a great-grandson; sister, Susan Page; and brothers, Patrick and Timothy Schaffer. She was predeceased by her brother, John and sister, Helen.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 am on Saturday, November 7th at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville.
