Stanley J. Raflowski of Baldwinsville died suddenly on January 16, 2022.  A Syracuse Area native, he married the love of his life Nancy J. (Becker), enduring for over 65 years.  Stanley often recalled how when he noticed her at a skating rink, he was "taken by her".  He offered to tie her ice skates, she accepted, and so started a beautiful love story.

     Stanley graduated from Fayetteville High School, where he played several sports, but football was his favorite.  He served in the U.S. Airforce as a Mechanic during the Korean War Conflict.  Later he became a successful mechanic and eventually a construction supervisor for Davis Wallbridge, Inc.  Stanley was later successful running a carpentry and heavy equipment construction business.

     Stanley, a good humored man, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. 

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, John (Ellen) Raflowski and Susan (Dan) Funseth; grandchildren, Ryan (KDee) Raflowski, Aleksander Raflowski and Megan Raflowski; and a great-grandson, Brody.

     Family and friends may call from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on Monday, January 24 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.  The service will follow the calling hours.
