Stephen C. Phelps-Martans, 37, of Syracuse, passed away October 23, 2020. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Martin and Treacy (Phelps) Martans and his uncle, Derek Stephen Phelps. He is survived by his sister, Mia Martans, his fiancé, Kathryn Menustik, 8 aunts and uncles, and 36 cousins.

Those who were blessed to have known Stephen enjoyed his kind heart, his desire to help others, and his bubbly sense of humor. He was an accomplished and highly talented drummer whose creative passions included art and all music.

Friends and family will miss his loving manner, spirited nature, and desire to protect the ones he loved.
