Susan D. Hummel, 86, of Fayetteville died peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022.   Sue was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Endicott, NY.  She graduated from Wilson College.  She was a member of the DeWitt Community Church and their cross-stitching group.  She was a member of the Fayetteville Antiques Club, Fayetteville Garden Club, book clubs and enjoyed playing Bridge.

     She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald and her son, David.  She is survived by her children, Robert Hummel of Richmond, VA and Cynthia Taylor of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kathryn and Timothy (Allyson) Hummel of Richmond, VA, Hannah and Jackson Taylor of Fayetteville; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Hummel; brother, William Daly of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

     A calling hour will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.  The service will follow the calling hour.  Private burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery.
