Obituary for Susan Higgins
Susan Higgins, 95, formerly of Liverpool passed away peacefully at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse and went to Delaware School in Syracuse. Susan worked for Autolite as an assembly worker.
Susan was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool. She was a member of the Town of Salina Senior Center. She married the love of her life, Ceylon, and they were married for 72 years before his death in 2017. They enjoyed traveling and went on 23 cruises and saw many different countries.
She is survived by her children, James (Julie) and Richard; brother, Carmen (Donna) Zeolla; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 6 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The funeral will follow the calling hour. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
