Sylvia C. Miske, of DeWitt, died two days before her 90th birthday. She was born in Jamaica, NY, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Alma Falcinelli. Sylvia was a homemaker, who also worked outside the home in sales positions. She was a member of DeWitt Community Church and its Altar Guild. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a member of the DeWitt Garden Club.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and her favorite times were spent with her cherished grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, John V. Miske; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Ellen Falcinelli; and her nephew, John Falcinelli.
She is survived by her children, Peter (Michelle) Miske, Linda (Jim) Borchik, Loretta (John) White, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Rosaschi; twelve grandchildren, Ryan and John Miske, Jamie (Kinzi), Jason, Daniel (fianceƩ Hannah) and David Borchik, John, Will and Kate White, Thomas (Shelby), Joseph and Luke Rosaschi; and two great-grandsons, Tripp and Jet Borchik; brother and sister-in-law, David (Patricia) Falcinelli; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Monday, May 27, at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The funeral service will follow the calling hours at 3:00 pm. Private burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
