Obituary for Tara D. Angeli-Johnson

Tara Angeli-Johnson, 46, of Minoa, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on April 1st. Tara was born and raised in Syracuse and was a graduate of Fabius-Pompey High School, Onondaga Community College, and received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from LeMoyne College.  She worked as a customer service representative at Emblem Health for the last 16 years.

Tara was a passionate CNY Storm cheer mom and loved watching her daughters perform.  She was a die-hard SU fan, adored her Shelties, loved creating crafts and loved decorating her home (especially in the fall and during Christmas) with anything Mackenzie Childs. She loved hanging out by the pool listening to her “terrible” playlists with her daughters and enjoyed getting together with family and friends for food, drinks, fun and laughter as much as possible.  Tara’s happy place was Dewey Beach, DE where we would take yearly summer family vacations; she called it her home away from home.

Tara lived life to its fullest by always making everything fun and memorable; she was a beautiful person inside and out.  On the outside, she always wore the perfect outfits and had her hair, nails and make-up done. On the inside, she always had a positive attitude with an infectious giggle and a smile on her face.  She was a selfless, strong, sweet, caring person that put her friends and family first, especially her daughters.  There was nothing that made her prouder than being a mom to Alexa (16) and Kennedy (11) who are just like their mom in so many ways.

Tara will be deeply missed by everyone she touched. She will forever be loved and never forgotten because of the lifetime of memories she created with each and every one of us.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, April 16 from 4-7 pm for calling hours and a service following the calling hours at 7 pm at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp's Corners Rd, Minoa, NY
