Obituary for Terri Yackel Butterfield

Terri (Yackel) Butterfield, 47, of Kirkville, passed away on Sunday. Terri proudly owned and operated Parkway Pizza in Minoa for over 24 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Minoa. Some of Terri’s favorite activities were spending time with her family and friends, her pets, volunteering for the CNY Cat Coalition, camping, gardening and 4-wheeling.

Terri was a pillar of the community and was known for her generous spirit and compassion, and was always happy to help. She loved all of her employees like family and was loved by all she met. Terri is predeceased by her parents, John and Ellen Yackel.

Terri is survived by her beloved husband, Bronson; daughter, Marissa (Nolan Maher) Yackel of Syracuse; sisters, Ginger (Jason) Jurkiewicz, Tammy Yackel and Cynthia (Lawrence) Marcellus; and a nephew, Matthew.

Calling hours will be Saturday, May 22 from 10 am to 1 pm at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepps Corners Road, Minoa. Please feel free to ride your motorcycle to the calling hours as a show of your love for Terri. Burial will be private.
