Obituary for Veronica "Nikki" M. Patell
Veronica “Nikki” Patell, 104, of Maple Downs in Fayetteville, formerly of Onondaga Hill died on September 18, 2019. Born in Cazenovia she attended Cazenovia schools and Cazenovia Seminary.
She retired in 1976 as vice president of Patell Industrial Machine Co., Inc. co-owned with husband, Thomas who died in 1994. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church, Onondaga Hill, Friends of Onondaga Free Library, Cavalry Club, Auxiliary member and volunteer at Community General Hospital, City View Garden Club and Onondaga Hill Antiques Club.
She is survived by a niece, Deborah A. (Bob) Purdy of Fayetteville; and four nephews, Ron (Pat) Davis of Florida, John Davis, Peter (Penny) Davis and Donald Davis all of Fayetteville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her nephew, Stephen Davis.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 am on Monday, September 23 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. A service will follow the calling hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Cazenovia.
