Obituary for Wesley J. Dines
Wesley J. Dines, 93, of Chittenango, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019.
Born in Syracuse on July 22, 1926, he was the son of Ernest and Grace Dines. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving during WWII.
Wesley was a life long dairy farmer. He belonged to New York State Horsepullers Association.
He is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Audrey Kirsch Dines and beloved granddaughter, Eve Goodison North.
Surviving are his children, Wayne Dines, Sharon Stone, Shirley Vanderworken, Sandra Shantel, Bill (Julie) Dines and Sarah Murphy; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Gregory; brother, Bob Dines; and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Wesley’s life will be back where it all began on Saturday, November 23, from 1 to 4pm at the Spinning Wheel Restaurant, Thompson Rd, North Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Evie North Stars Foundation, P.O. Box 14263, East Providence, RI, 02914 or the Bridgeport Food Pantry, 7477 Murray Drive, Cicero, NY 13039.
