I worked with Bill at Anheuser-Busch and always had great respect for him. It was a brutal environment at times, overwhelming, and my last memory of Bill was a humorous one that demonstrated the black humor of the brewery. Bill had been supervising the worst running bottle line in the brewery which was beyond a challenge at its best. On this particular night, it was mayhem. The shift superintendent was riding Bill like a horse to get his paperwork done and on a night like Bill had had, it was nearly impossible to make the numbers balance. Over and over, "are you done yet Bill?" Finally Bill got up and walked out of our work area, through the locker room, and headed for the front door. I got up and looked down the hallway and I can still see Bill walking out. I stuck my head back in and told the SS that, "I think Bill is done." A legend. RIP Bill.

Cheryl and family my deepest condolences. I attended school with Bill and graduated with him in 1965. I left the area but returned in 1989. I attended church events and class reunions where I renewed my friendship with Bill. Last time I saw him was at St Francis event in Bridgeport. He is one of the most lovable and friendly guys I knew. Again I'm so sorry for your loss. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers always.
