Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Chamberlin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for John H. Chamberlin

John H. Chamberlin, 71, of Syracuse passed away peacefully at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse where he had been a resident the past four years. He graduated from LaFayette High School, served in the Coast Guard and worked for the IBEW Local 43
He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Anne P. Chamberlin and brother, Bill. He is survived by three daughters, Mindy (Andy) Blake of Victor, Lisa Chamberlin of East Syracuse and Jennifer Chamberlin of East Syracuse; granddaughter, Alexandra; two sisters-in-law, Carol Chamberlin and Jacqueline (Richard) Crispin; and nieces and nephews, Jaime Oeberst and James Chamberlin, Frank Crispin, Shawn Crispin, Wendy Baylor, and Kelly Crispin-Kelly.
Family and friends may call from 11 am to 1pm on Wednesday, November 30 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will follow the calling hours. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VA Medical Center,800 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210.
