Obituary for Joseph T. Komuda Jr.

Joseph T. Komuda, Jr., 72, passed away on Friday at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Syracuse, New York to Joseph and Joanna Komuda.
Joseph served in the Army National Guard. He was employed by Allied Chemical Corporation until their closing, Pepsi Cola Allied Bottlers and also employed by his brother at CNY Medical Products.
Joseph had a lifelong passion for the outdoors. He loved boating, fishing and hunting, mostly enjoying the solitude of the woods. He enjoyed the simple things in life and found value in all effects. Joe was always ready to help out with a creative solution to any problem. His beloved Dozer, one of several dogs he had over the course of his life, gave him great happiness, unwavering companionship and love. He was determined and had a willingness to fight to the end. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Joseph was predeceased by his mother, Joanna C. Komuda and father, Joseph T. Komuda, Sr.
He is survived by three children, twelve brothers and sisters and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private Mass services were held on Monday, May 8th at Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church.
At the family’s request, any donations may be made to Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church at 3690 Armstrong Road, Syracuse, NY 13209.
