Mary Louise Baker, 76, of Cazenovia passed away May 4, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Born in Minoa on March 8, 1939, she was the daughter of Arthur I. and F. Margaret Meagher Rank. She was educated in the Minoa Schools. Mary Lou loved to crochet, garden, watch soap operas, cook Sunday dinners, and be with her family.
She is predeceased by her parents and two brothers, James and Arthur Rank. She is survived by her husband, Larry Baker; three sons John L., Michael J. and Peter A. Baker; daughter Laurie Smith; two sisters, Margaret Abend and Cathy (Frank) Rego; two brothers, Bob Rank and Dave (Shirley) Rank; eight grandchildren, Aricca Baker, Billy (Meghan) Smith, Bryan (Bridgette) Smith, Paul Baker, Autum Baker, Stephanie Smith, Kimberly Smith and Hanna Baker; three great grandchildren, Noah, Ryker and Maisen; several nieces and nephews; and cousins.
Family and friends may call Sunday, May 10 from 3 to 7 pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Road, Minoa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 11 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church, Minoa. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to American Lung Association of CNY, POB 6409, Syracuse, NY 13217.
