Obituary for Susan Lee ""Big Nonna"" Olney
Susan L. “Big Nonna” Olney, 70, of Minoa, formerly of Seneca Falls, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Geneva, the daughter of Clark and Joan Crough.
Susan worked with the Carrier Corporation for 30 years and later graduated from LeMoyne College and became a teacher for Bryant & Stratton College.
She was of the Catholic faith and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Susan is survived by; sons Robert C. Hill, James W. (Sheri) Hill, brother; William (Jean) Crough, granchildren; Kaleigh, Madison, Ella and Joshua Hill, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeacesed by; sister Julianne Crough and grandson Zachary Hill.
Calling hours will be Saturday, noon to 1pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Road, Minoa. A funeral service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls.
