Obituary for Bridget M Rhodes

Bridget M. (Techmanski) Rhodes, 95, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was born in Blackstone, MA and graduated from Whitesboro High School. During World War II she worked at Griffiss Air Force Base. She later worked as a Court Attendant for Oneida County. Bridget was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville and formerly St. Anthony’s Church in Chadwicks, NY.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas H.; her children, Thomas P. (Ellen), John H. (Jacklyn), Ann M. (David) Sweet and David P. (Gail); sisters, Julia Zombek and Helen Sojda; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna Techmanski; brothers, Steve and Ed; and sister, Veronica.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 am Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Daniel Fulihan and Gentiva Home Care, particularly Samantha, Sandy, Terry and Jessica for their kind, compassionate care.
